About the Item

Extremely decorative Italian vase with hand carved fruit, a Renaissance Revival style polychrome fruits and leaves on silvered center vase standing on stepped squared basement measuring 18 by 18 cm. Manufactured by Bartolozzi Maioli in Firenze around mid-20th century, this Italian cembran pine centerpiece comes from a private residence near Orvieto, in Umbria. Wear consistent with age and use, this Florentine centerpiece shows minor painting losses and an old restoration see pictures details. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago requires a governative license for export called Belle Arti.
