‘Lune [M] - circles black N°1' ceramic vase
This vase is part of a new series inspired by iconic Art (and more precisely paintings) movements. Here is our LUNE [M] model with motifs based on abstract paintings. They are applied to the vase before its first firing, by using a 'dripping' technique of black slip. The inside transparent glaze adds then a finishing touch after a second firing at high temperature (1250°C) to ensure a more durable and resistant item.
Since each piece is unique and handmade, the decorative patterns may slightly differ from one vase to another.
Measures: H: 23 CM / L: 26 CM
H: 9 Inch. / L: 10.2 Inch.

- Raw exterior showcasing the natural aspect of the clay’s texture with black slip dripping technique motifs.

INI CERAMIQUE IS A STUDIO BASED IN FRANCE, WHOSE STONEWARE WORK AIMS TO CREATE DECORATIVE PIECES, CREATING A LINK BETWEEN ARCHITECTURE, ART AND NATURE. THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF CAPSULE COLLECTIONS BUILT AROUND A CONTEMPORARY AESTHETIC VISION, OUR CREATIONS GENERATE A DIALOGUE BETWEEN MATERIAL, TEXTURE AND HANDMADE. GRADUATED FROM THE ÉCOLE SUPÉRIEURE DES BEAUX-ARTS IN MONTPELLIER IN 2018, OUR DESIGNER INHEE MA IS FROM SOUTH KOREA AND IS DEVELOPING A MULTIDISCIPLINARY ACTIVITY, COMBINING CONTEMPORARY ART, DESIGN AND CRAFTS. SHE NOW LIVES AND WORKS IN BURGUNDY, FRANCE. THE INI CERAMIQUE COLLECTIONS EMERGE FROM THE ASSOCIATION BETWEEN AESTHETIC INSPIRATION AND THE FUNCTIONALITY OF EVERYDAY OBJECTS. ALL INI CERAMIQUE PIECES ARE HANDCRAFTED BY THE DESIGNER, IN HER WORKSHOP. IN CHAMOTTE STONEWARE, THEY ARE THEN FIRED AT HIGH TEMPERATURE AND PRESENT A CONTRAST BETWEEN A SHINY TRANSPARENT GLAZED INTERIOR AND A RAW EXTERIOR EMPHASIZING THE NATURAL TEXTURE OF THE CLAY.
