Hand-blown glass vase with undulating form from the Yokohama Series, blue glass with murrhines and gold foil, by Aldo Nason for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy, 1960's. Nason, who trained with Giulio Radi, took his design techniques a step further. His works are less restrained. Reference: Il Vetro di Murano alle Biennali 1895-1972, Barovier, Barovier Mentasti and Dorigato, pages 61, 162 illustrate technique. Murano Glass: Themes and Variations 1910-1970, by Mark Heiremans, pages 18, 21 illustrate series and technique.
