Hand-blown glass vase, multicolor with silver and gold foils encased in clear layer of glass by Aldo Nason for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy, 1960's;. At A.V.E.M. artists were constantly experimenting and many pieces were unique works of art. There is a larger piece that is from the same series also offered for sale. Provenance: Evan Lobel purchased this pieces directly from A.V.E.M. in 2001 as part of a large collection of pieces stored there from the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s.
