About the Item

An antique Vietnamese Annamese green water jar from the 19th century, with raised dragon motifs, blue, brown and yellow accents and petite loop handles. Created in Vietnam during the 19th century, this green glazed Annamese Martaban vase is adorned with a series of petite loop handles through which a rope would have been passed to secure a top. Showcasing an opening of 7" diameter, the jar is adorned with green, blue and cream dragon motifs standing out beautifully on a yellow mustard ground. With its nice proportions and skillfully executed décor, this 19th century Annamese water jar will make for a great decorative addition to any home!
