About the Item
This large antique art glass vase is unsigned, but done in a similar style as that produced by the Mt. Washington Glass works of the United states, dating to approximately 1880 and done in the period Victorian style. The vase has a unique squared shape with clear glass handles and indenations to the front and back. The vase is done with cased glass using a white base, with some cobalt blue and purple over it and given a satin finish and quilted pattern. The vase also has a series of vines and flowers that drape across the front and carry around to the back.
