Royal Worcester Blush Ivory Flatback Ewer – Shape 1094, Dated 1896 A fine quality Royal Worcester blush ivory porcelain ewer, produced in 1896. Of flatback form, the body is finely hand-painted with naturalistic sprays of summer flowers in shaded enamel colours, enriched with delicate gilt detailing. The ewer is fitted with a fluted gilt handle and finished with a softly scalloped rim, edged in gilt. The blush ivory ground displays an attractive graduated tone, typical of Worcester production of the period. The base bears the puce Royal Worcester factory mark, registration number 221115, shape number 1094, and date code for 1896. Dimensions: Height: 19 cm Width: 16 cm Depth: 14 cm Condition: In good condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some light rubbing to the gilding on the handle and rim, commensurate with age.
