Beautiful
unique 'Arabesque' wall hanging vase by Michael
Frances Higgins. The wall vase is constructed with two pieces of hand crafted fused glass with the design between the glass and is in excellent original condition.
Michael and Frances Higgins, who met at the Chicago Institute of Design, were pioneers in the rediscovery and refinement of the ancient art of glass fusing. Because it is so labor-intensive, glass fusing had been all but abandoned in favor of glass blowing by the mid-twentieth century.
