This murano glass vase has a very organic feel to it as the egg shape and green coloring evoke natural vibes of this vessel almost resembling a green cocoon. Dynamic and mesmerizing from every angle this murano art glass vase clearly demonstrates why Archimede Seguso truly earned the title of Maestro or master glass artist. Archimede Seguso often cited as one of the greatest master glass makers of the 20th century, from his creative genius wonderful glass artworks have emerged from his legendary furnace. Lino Tagliapietra credits Archimede Seguso as being the greatest influence in Tagliapietra's career.

Between 1932 and 1933 the Milanese architect Tomaso Buzzi, a spirited protagonist of the Milan “neoclassicist” movement, a friend and associate of Gio Ponti, and a partner of Il Labirinto, established a fruitful collaboration with the Venini glassware company, which would continue, albeit episodically, in later years. The architect’s creative contribution was evident both in the glass forms and in their innovative manufacturing technique.
