About the Item
This stunning Art Deco Machine Age bakelite bud vase features a slender conical body realized in black bakelite that rests atop a stepped skyscraper style base in lustrous chrome. While this is a perfectly functional item- ideal for presenting flowers- it is also a beautiful example of the Machine Age's influence on Art Deco design in America. Thus, it represents a winning find for any discerning collector of the period. "Dura-Vase" is imprinted on the bottom of the vase. Excellent condition.
