About the Item

Possibly by the Primavera workshop established by Le Printemps department store in Paris, this marvelous vase is executed in deep blue and orange glazes, with splashes of ivory. Primavera was best known for its Art Deco and Moderne designs, though this piece has a more contemporary feel, and the swirl of orange over blue is very striking. The base is signed, though the signature is difficult to discern.
