About the Item
A very pretty Art Nouveau enameled cloisonné brass vase, featuring powder-blue iris flowers with light-green stems set against a warm, rusty nude background. The vase displays a delicate mix of pastel, dust-toned colors characteristic of the Art Nouveau period (circa 1890–1910).
The artistic rendering of the iris motif was achieved by carving into the brass body and then applying finely ground glass powder, which was fired to create the smooth enameled surface. This combination of cloisonné technique and subtle color palette gives the piece an especially refined presence.
Condition: Good vintage condition, consistent with age.
