About the Item
An exceptional Art Nouveau stoneware vase by Danish ceramic maker Ipsen, model number 13/50. This finely crafted piece features a sculptural relief design of a bird perched on an oak branch with acorns and foliage, rendered in exquisite detail. The rich brown and green glaze transitions beautifully from dark to light tones, enhancing the three-dimensional effect of the design.
Made in Denmark in the late 19th or early 20th century, the vase embodies the organic and naturalistic themes typical of the Art Nouveau era. The back is marked with the model number “13/50,” indicating its authenticity and catalog reference within the Ipsen production line.
