About the Item

An Art Nouveau rose bowl vase, crafted by the renowned Czech glassmaker Kralik circa 1910. A perfect example of the organic elegance and style of the Art Nouveau era. Hand-blown and moulded, the vase takes on the whimsical form of a gourd, its undulating curves realized in fine, pearlescent milky glass. The soft iridescence lends it a luminous quality, subtly shifting with the light. Resting on three curled pearlescent green glass feet—expertly shaped to resemble delicate tendrils. A decorative brass cap, designed to space and support rose blooms, completes the design, its gentle patination adding depth to the antique character. Measuring 20 cm in diameter and 16 cm in height, this Kralik rose bowl remains in very good condition for its age and use. The glass retains its original lustre and remains structurally sound, while the brass cap shows only minor signs of age-appropriate wear. A beautifully preserved example of early 20th-century Bohemian art glass, ideal for collectors and admirers of Art Nouveau craftsmanship.
