About the Item

Feminine face vase by artist Susanne Portanova A mix of the old world and new age technique. Highly sculpted styled design made from stoneware, underglaze painted on leather hard clay and clear glaze high fired to cone six. The piece is off white in color with light blue - aqua contrasting coloration. The blue further defines the feminine facial structure and pops against the neutral tone while making it easily visible from afar. Portanova has glazed the exterior as well as the interior making it the perfect vase for floral arrangements. Portanova’s pieces are both functional and visually stunning. The face vases look great as a centerpiece or on a shelf. They are unique with nods to the likes of Picasso. Dimensions: 7” W x 2” D x 9.5” H
