Rare and beautiful, antique Murano hand blown ruby red and gold flecks Italian art glass vase with applied green fish in the style of early Venetian glass. Documented and labelled as a piece from the Artistica Soffiera Vetreria - Barovier Seguso Ferro workshop. The company was in business for only 4 years (1933-1937), before becoming Seguso Vetri D' Arte. The vase is published as well (see below). The vases are dusted with gold leaf on the surface. The applied green fish stems are also covered in gold leaf, with their tails going up and around the body of the vase. Please let me know if there is a preference between the vases when purchasing, otherwise I will have to choose. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, table or cabinet. Art Deco, Mid-century era. PLEASE NOTE - Only one of the vases has the original label underneath (see last photo). Collector items! Measurements: 8 3/4" tall x 3 1/2" wide.
