About the Item
Beautiful and rare, antique Murano hand blown rich ruby red Italian art glass flower vase, with white leaf handle decorations dusted with gold. Documented and labelled as Artistica Soffiera Vetreria - Barovier Seguso Ferro. The last photo shows the original label still attached. The company was in business for only 4 years (1933-1937), before becoming Seguso Vetri D' Arte. The vase has a ruffled rim, with nicely sculpted organic Art Nouveau style leafs used as handles for the vase. It is fairly large at 10" tall. The white glass has gold leaf throughout (see close up photos). Would make a great display piece on any vanity, desk or credenza. Early Art Deco / Mid-century era. Measures: 10" tall x 9" across handles x 6 3/4" wide at the rim.
