Barovier Toso Glass Bowl, iridescent, ca. 1940 The substantial, shell-like glass bowl is crafted from iridescent, hand-blown Murano glass, featuring a ribbed design. This style gives rise to its name, "A Grosse Costolature," meaning "with large ribs." The piece was displayed in Venice in 1989 at the Correr Museum during an exhibition dedicated to Ercole Barovier. Good condition.
