Beautiful Chinese gourd vase in white and blue porcelain.
Good quality porcelain for this pretty decorative object.
Two decorations on either side of the vase.
The decorations represent two characters in a mountainous landscape with a tree in the center. On one side a character smokes, the other drinks from a gourd. On the other side the same 2 characters face each other, as a fighter, with the tree still in the center.
Studio stamp under the vase.
The vase dates from the Republic period (first half of the 20th century).
