Handmade in Yellowstone area. Handmade; Each piece is unique Contemporary Western Art Ceramics. Material: Stoneware Glaze, With White Glaze, Signed on the bottom of the belly : Jesse Fales 25 Note: The work is handmade and handcrafted. Imperfections are part of the beauty of the stoneware and glaze. A perfect WABI SABI piece. JESSE FALES (b. 1980) started making sculptural functional ceramics in 2002. Drawing from memory and observation, she brings the wild animals she encounters in her life in Yellowstone Area into her ceramic forms. Jesse Fales is Born in Cody, Wyoming and raised on the Northfork of the Shoshone River, in Wapiti Valley, daughter of outfitters and dude ranchers, Jesse Fales spent her entire childhood outdoors on pack trips going deep into the wilds of the Absaroka Mountains. Rimrock Dude Ranch has been her home since 14 and she has spent every summer riding horses around Shoshone National Forest and Yellowstone National Park.
