About the Item

Created in the Vitrix Hot Glass Studio in 1983 by Thomas Scharman Buechner (1926-2010), this stunning blown glass vase resembles a large beautiful moonstone gem. With it's opalesque milky gradated color and Art Deco, clear three tiered fan sides, this piece is a remarkable example of the work of Thomas Buechner. The Buechner family has made quite an impression in the world of art glass over the years. This signed vase is in amazing condition and with its beautifully crafted and simplistically symmetric design, would be a gorgeous addition to an already existing glass collection or simply a single piece for a shelf or table in need of a touch of simple sophistication.
