Beautiful and rare small vintage blue vase, ear vase, made of glazed blue crackle earthenware with geometric pattern, design attributed to Aldo Londi for Bitossi, colour Rimini Blue, 1960s, not marked.
Collector's item, these vases may not be that big but they are very sought after by collectors and connoisseurs of Bitossi, rare in this size and shape.
The Italian ceramist Aldo Londi from Montelupo became art director of Bitossi in the early 1950s and created his famous Rimini Blu collection in 1955. This collection has more than 150 different designs, vases, bowls and animals, all glazed in bright blue and green colours with their characteristic and iconic pattern.
In very good vintage condition, no cracks, breaks or chips, check the photos for more details!
