About the Item

Beautiful Czech Bohemian Art Nouveau style tall blue cut to clear etched cameo glass with a Art Nouveau nude woman signed Ingrid. The "Ingrid" line of artistic glass items was created by Curt's son, Henry Schlevogt, and named after his daughter. The Ingrid collection debuted at the Leipzig trade fair in 1934 and was also showcased at world expositions in Chicago (1934) and Brussels (1935). The collection was a collaborative effort, with designs contributed by renowned artists like Ladislav Přenosil, Zdeněk Juna, Franz Pazourek, Artur Pleva, and E. Rottenberg. The Ingrid collection encompassed a wide variety of pieces, including: Vases: Known for their relief-pressed figures (often nude) and floral designs, typically in jade green (malachite) or apis lazuli (lapis blue) colored glass. This is a great piece in very good condition.
