The Brutalist Tube Vase #002 is composed of common aluminum extrusion profiles – Simple round and rectangular tubing is precisely cut, drilled, and welded specific proportions in mind. The resulting relationship of parts, in this case, the horizontal rectangular base with vertical circular tube, unify to serve a common function while also aspiring to a more elusive formal harmony. The BTV series is an edition of fifteen vases, seven in Blue and eight in Green.
