Sculptural glass vase of the Cartoccio model, designed by Pietro Chiesa in the 1930s, here in a version probably from the Mid-20th century for Fontana Arte. Made of thick-walled glass with a satin finish - the wave-like folded silhouette is reminiscent of softly folded paper (ital. cartoccio).
