Small ceramic pot realized by Villeroy
Boch in the early 20th Century.
The specific tower mark with “V&B” and “BONN” was used by the Bonn factory of Villeroy
Boch after their takeover of the former Franz Anton Mehlem works in 1920. It remained in use until the factory closed in 1931. Pieces from this period are known for their transfer-printed patterns inspired by 19th-century designs, often in cobalt blue, as seen here.
