Gabriella b Venice Decor is a brand that was created in 2001 through my desire to transform a creative experience into a concrete business where art and craft find their own niche in the market. My cultural background is an inexhaustible source of inspiration to me, being enriched by the 14th Century colours of my hometown, Treviso, by the Baroque and Byzantine influence of nearby Venice and by selected travels. My collections of ceramics thus arise from materials which are precious for their history and their value. They may be embellished by bronze, platinum and 24-carat gold, depending on the desired effect. The result is vases, plates and lamps which are visually striking and refined decorative objects equally suited to classic and modern environments. The objects are selected with great care and are hand-made by skilled craftsmen using high quality materials for creative intervention. Form, decoration and technical skills combine to make each object unique: figures and colours are the fruit of careful balance and sophisticated composition in which volume, thickness and depth play a whole new role.
