About the Item

Decorative vase or bowl on a foot in glazed ceramic. Chalice-shaped structure: A flared shape resting on a conical foot, giving it an elegant and sculptural silhouette. • The body is entirely decorated with raised motifs evoking water drops, pine nuts, or even a stylized fruit shape (such as the prickly pear, typical of certain Mediterranean ceramics). Material: High-quality glazed ceramic with a deep and glossy glaze effect. Color: Dominant turquoise green tone with darker, almost black accents on the upper part, which accentuate the relief and provide contrast. The variation in the glaze appears intentionally irregular, which gives movement and visual richness to the object. Style and probable origin: This type of ceramic is often associated with Mediterranean or Italian inspiration, particularly Sicily (such as the Caltagirone objects). The style could also evoke the creations of Bitossi (Italy) or even certain French or Spanish productions from the 1950s to 1970s. Possible use: Purely decorative object, as a centerpiece or on a low piece of furniture. Can also be used as a trinket dish, a bowl for dried fruits, or for dried flowers.
