About the Item

Stunning flower vase, made out of metal, elaborately hand enamel painted, the base is firegilt, a French masterpiece, made around 1870 at the time of Napoleon III. This vase is a true masterpiece, it is of yellow metal, the square base is fire-gilded. The entire round body is covered with enamel painting. They are hand-painted floral decorations in different colors, even gold. The object has its original screw connection from the 1870s, which is still tight and therefor the vase is a ready to use object. Measurements approx.: height 9,25 in - 23,5 cm, base width 5,12 in - 13 cm, depth 5,12 in - 13 cm Absolutely stunning vase and in this condition really rare, of the famous French Napoleon III period.
