An elegant handblown trumpet vase in rich cobalt blue glass, attributed to glassmakers of the Empoli region in Italy, and produced during the 1980s. Its sculptural silhouette—defined by a wide flaring mouth, spherical knop stem, and a broad circular base—draws from both classical and Art Deco influences.
The glass exhibits exceptional clarity and intensity of colour, with subtle tonal variations visible in the light. Though unsigned, the vase bears hallmarks consistent with Empoli production during the late 20th century, known for its refined forms and confident use of saturated colour.
Measuring 25.5 cm in height and 16.5 cm in diameter, it remains in very good vintage condition with only light surface wear to the base. A decorative yet functional piece, ideal for display as a centrepiece or to introduce a note of vibrant colour to a curated glass collection.
