This modernist solifleur vase is crafted in warm brown glass with a soft translucence, featuring a spherical base and elongated tapering neck—an elegant study in proportion and restraint typical of Scandinavian glass design from the period. Arthur Percy, a pivotal figure in 20th-century Swedish decorative arts, served as artistic director of Gullaskruf from 1952 and brought a refined, architectural sensibility to the glassworks’ production.
