About the Item

Glazed ceramic vase designed by Alessio Tasca around the seventies. The model, known as “Cornovaso”, together with other similar models, is characterized by the typical sinuous and organic shape that recalls the sculptural and experimental language of the author. Tasca, one of the most important Italian ceramists of the post-World War II period, is known for his ability to combine formal rigor, technical innovation and material sensitivity, giving life to objects in balance between art and design. Good general condition, with patina compatible with age and use. Provenance: private collection.
