The Dalmatian Medium Globe Vase is a bold and contemporary interpretation of natural texture and playful contrast. Handcrafted from high-quality porcelain, this piece features a rounded globe silhouette with an irregular dotted surface that evokes the charm of a dalmatian’s distinctive patterning. Its speckled black-and-white glaze gives each vase a unique character—no two are exactly alike. Lana Kova Studio
Lana Kova Studio was founded in 2014 by Lana Kova, and is based in in Tribeca NYC. Lana works in sculpture, ceramics, watercolor and painting and has been an active participant in the New York art scene. She specializes in contemporary ceramic sculpture, pottery, and porcelain, and has a passion for glaze research and experimentation. Her signature: the seemingly infinite - hand drawn dots covering the inside and outside of a bowl; coral-like carvings surrounding a large ceramic sculpture. Her art is meditative, the result of controlled rhythm and concentration. Lana Kova has exhibited with Sara Japanese Pottery, The Fireplace Project, Studio 11, and Greenwich House Pottery. She was one of the selected artists to participate in the Gyeonggi-do International Ceramic Competition Exhibition in 2017 and her sculpture Black Urchin was selected for the permanent collection of Korea Ceramic Foundation, South Korea.
