About the Item

Beautiful pair of Imari porcelain cups with French lost-wax cast and gilded bronze mounts. The bronze mounts are rich and elegant, depicting plant shoots with handles surmounted by small birds, which give class and refinement. The Imari cups are adorned with designs of typical Japanese oriental scenes, in which a figure can be seen immersed in a flowery environment. These objects are extremely refined and capable of enriching any environment with taste and elegance. The cups are ascribed to Japanese manufacture of the 18th century, composed in decorative art by French craftsmen around the beginning of the 19th century. Measurements: H x DM 21 x 25cm
