About the Item
Charming pair of small bud vases dating from the early 20th century, around 1900s.
The bases are cast in patinated spelter, each one depicting a dog and a cat holding a small horn-shaped support for the glass tube.
The glass tops are mouth-blown in a soft yellow tone, with white enameled floral decoration and a scalloped rim.
A delightful Belle Époque decorative pair – perfect for a single fresh flower, an old garden rose, a sprig of lily of the valley or a refined dried stem.
Small format – ideal on a console, bookshelf, side table or bedside.
