A fine modernist art pottery vase.
By Edwin and Mary Scheier.
In a teardrop form with a small foot. With brown glaze all over and multicolored glaze around the middle that shifts from black to green to blue to tan. With sgraffito designs of primitive abstract figures and/or faces characteristic of Edwin's post war style.
Likely dates to the mid 1950s.
