About the Item

Stunning, rare and important vintage midcentury modern Italian, Venetian centrepiece in subtle, light lilac / pink Neodymium or Alexandrite 'Massello' glass (glass which is not blown, rather worked hot as a mass of molten glass) sculpture of a female nude bust and torso by master glass blower Ermanno Nason (1928-2013) for Cenedese of Murano, Venice, Italy somewhere between the years 1963-1972. An absolutely stunning piece of Mid-Century Murano glass by one of the best glass makers of his generation - particularly striking is it's elegant form and soft lilac / light purple color/colour. A extremely rare opportunity to be the new custodian and owner of this rare item of Murano glass which is, in our opinion, a real museum piece. Dimensions are: Height = 23.8 cm, Width = 8.5cm Depth = 8.5cm.
