A stylish Arts
Crafts Royal Doulton Brangwynware leaf and berry pattern vase designed by Sir Frank William Brangwyn RA RWS RBA (1867-1956) and dating from around 1925. The vase of wide cylindrical shape is decorated with incised stylised floral and fruit designs hand painted in colored enamels on a white glazed ground. The vase stands on a narrow rounded foot with a narrow slanting rim and wide opening. The earthenware vase has printed, incised and painted marks to the base. The vase is impressed 7743 and pattern number D5079.
