About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown opalescent, light purple / lavender and controlled bubbles Italian art glass flower vase. The piece is documented to the Fratelli Toso company. It retains an original "Murano Glass - Made In Italy" blue and silver label underneath. The vase has a large pulled rim on both sides, making a very unique shape. The technique is called "Bullicante" where bubbles are spaced throughout the middle layer of glass. The outside color of the vase changes depending on the light, from light lavender / bluish color to white under direct light. Would make a great display piece on any table. Fill it with flowers or display as a sculptural piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures 9 3/4" tall.
