About the Item

Gorgeously glazed in blue, gray, white and coral hues, this vase in pitcher form has a classic, French Art Nouveau silhouette. This piece was hand-crafted in France using traditional pottery making techniques. Attributed to Charles Greber. Signed. Charles Greber's firm became famous for its Art Nouveau creations at the turn of the 20th century, and continued to make modern pieces through the 1920s. Charles Greber (1853-1935), the most famous of the Beauvais pottery dynasty, was an early adopter of Art Nouveau. When he wasn’t busy designing architectural features for facades and interiors, he produced Art Nouveau stoneware pottery pieces like this. This vase in pitcher form is Art Nouveau but can also be described as Art Deco. Measures: 11 1/2" High x 8" Wide x 6.25" Deep This French Art Nouveau Ceramic Vase in pitcher form would enhance any setting whether traditional, contemporary or modern.
