About the Item

Pair of hand painted Jacob Petit porcelain tripod epergnes on triangular bases. Made in France around 1850. Hand painted floral motif with gilt, mauve green and blue paint detailing. They are signed JP inside each base as well as hand numbered.. The vases are bade from a French hard-paste porcelain produced by Jacob Petit (b. 1796 - 1868), Jacob and his brother had factories in Fontainebleau and Paris in the early to mid 1800's. Both pieces are signed J.P. on the underside as well as hand numbered.
