About the Item

Striking and sculptural, this rose-toned pink ceramic vase was handcrafted by Evangeline Ceramic Accessories Inc. in Labelle, Quebec, circa 1970s. Produced in small studio batches, each piece was individually cast, hand-finished, and glazed — showcasing the artisanal precision and experimental spirit of Quebec’s modernist ceramic scene. Defined by its geometrical triangular form, this piece bridges Postmodern and early Memphis influences with a minimalist sensibility. The smooth matte finish and clean architectural lines give it a timeless quality — both playful and refined. It retains its original Evangeline sticker, a rare hallmark of authenticity. One bottom corner was left unglazed during production, visible in the close-up photo; this is not a chip, but part of the original firing process. The vase has been tested and is watertight. An exceptional example of Canadian Postmodern design, ideal for displaying sculptural greenery or as a standalone statement piece.
