In 1890, Gustav Schaefer and Gunther Vater founded the Schaefer

Porcelain factory located in Volkstedt Rudolstad, Thuringa, Germany. The company produced high quality porcelain, Jasperware, and majolica.
Jasperware is an unglazed, matte-finished stoneware known for the use of classical and neoclassical motifs.
This vase shows a winged fairy tending to her garden with a watering pail at her feet. The amphora shape shows two side handles.
Marked: Mold Number 4880B
4.75 inches H with a 2 inch Diameter base, and a 1 inch top opening.
