About the Item

Vibrant red Goto Vase designed by Gaetano Pesce for his show at he Venetian Caffe Florian in 1995 during the Venice Biennale. The vase is shaped like the head of the San Marco Lion and it has the Italian text “Toast to Venice” molded onto it. On the bottom are the words “Florian Temporanea.” The vase is hand-cut, and made from cast resin in a vibrant red color. Edition number unknown, but it is a very special object. The piece is in very good condition.
