About the Item
A beautiful vintage Mid-Century Modern Murano glass bowl, dish or ashtray often attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso d'Arte, circa 1960, but these are hard to place to a specific maker as lots of companies produced similar vessels in similar colours - most noticeably, Seguso, Cenedese and Salviati.
Beautifully understated and elegantly shaped simple free flowing, biomorphic form - reminiscent of a sea shell or conch. Captured in amber and emerald green 'Sommerso' glass, resulting is a simply mesmerizing piece of Mid-Century Italian art glass.
