About the Item

Exceptional hand-thrown porcelain vase by studio ceramic artist Sid Oakley, featuring a richly layered crystalline glaze in deep indigo, cobalt, and smoky violet tones. The surface displays dramatic crystal blooms with subtle variations in scale and translucency—hallmarks of the crystalline glazing process, where results are never duplicated. The vase has a beautifully balanced, rounded form with a gently flared rim, allowing the glaze to pool and break organically across the surface. Equally striking as a standalone sculptural object or displayed with minimal stems. • Hand-thrown porcelain • Crystalline glaze technique • Signed studio work by Sid Oakley • Rich blue and violet tonal variation with high gloss finish • One-of-a-kind surface and patterning Please zoom in on all photos and reach out with any questions happy to help
