About the Item
This exceptionally decorative vase was made by the Flemish ceramics manufacturer Laignel Kortrijk in the 1920s.
This unusual design language is typical of a special manufacturer. The ceramic is decorated all around with a laurel wreath featuring a star. This handcrafted decoration was then glazed with several colors using a drip glaze.
This design language is attributable to Art Deco, from the 1920s. Note the exciting color combination of brown, green, orange, blue, and yellow.
The vase is marked on the underside with the company stamp used between 1898 and 1928.
Measurements approx. height 11,42 in - 29 cm, diameter 9,45 in - 24 cm.
A beautiful object in stunning original condition without any damages, but with special design that fits into any tasteful interior.
