About the Item

Wonderful huge vase from the famous manufacturer Limoges from France, made in the 1950s. The shape of the vase is called a crater vase, an antique shape with two handles in the shape of putti. The porcelain vase is cobalt blue, but hand-painted all over with flowers and gold decoration - which is still in wonderful condition. A masterly execution of the decoration, which is shown very vividly. The vase is signed and inscribed on the plinth, Limoges France paint main. Measurements approx.: height 20,08 in - 51 cm, diameter 10,24 in - 26 cm. A dreamlike object that makes a wonderful decoration for any interior, on a dresser, on the table or as an eye-catcher on the shelf.
