About the Item
Extremely rare cylindric hyacinth vase with an additional glass liner designed by Manuela and Riccardo Forti when they have been with Sottsass Associati, Milano. Both parts are made of clear glass, the outer vase is decoreated with an sterling silver silkscreen printed pattern and the inner hyacinth liner is printed with orange dots. The vase is made by Egizia and marked near the base "MANUELA e RICCARDO FORTI for hwc (handle with care) EGIZIA by SOTTSASS ASSOCIATI" and "ARDENTO", near the upper rim there is still one of two original plastic labels "VETRO SOFFIATO A BOCCA SERIGRAFATO A MANO - MOUTH-BLOWN GLASS SILK-SCREENED BY HAND - MADE IN ITALY.

Condition: very good vintage condition with oxidation to the silver, a tiny fleabite to the upper rim behind the plastic label probably d ue t o production.
