"The "Majolica" term Longwy is a fine earthenware covered with a lead glaze colored mostly in shades of turquoise blue, green, ocher ...
While in its original definition, it refers to Italian or Hispanic earthenware, in a spirit of rebirth, which are dipped in a bath of enamel stanniferous (tin-based).
The main source of inspiration in Asia because its reliefs are perfectly adapted to the forms and the quality of the details which accentuate the relief molded by the projecting parts which remain clear.
The shapes of these creations are often taken from bronze molds of oriental inspiration. There are also majolica with decorations under enamel and sometimes enhanced on the glaze with gold. Some pieces are ennobled by a bronze fitting.
